This composition does not tell a story or make much sense. You can't eat a leaf and why are there mushrooms with it. It happened because I had picked up a leaf that I thought was interesting as I came in the door and I had bought mushrooms at the grocery store. And I was not brimming with other ideas. It was good practice though.
it's beautifully composed and lit, so why not?! i also struggle with my still-lifes telling a story when sometimes i just liked the way the subjects looked together
