Temporary bridge across Horcones River.

The main bridge was destroyed by a hurricane a few years ago. The locals have built a couple foot bridges that amazingly support the population of "across the river"
They do occasionally drive a tough suspension truck through this part of the river as it is usually shallow.

So, it actually quite a permanent "temporary bridge" - it doesn't look very sturdy. It must be a different way of life to explore. So interesting.

A great story telling image. The colors are wonderful.
We went many times around Puerto Vallarta but we never wandered very far. I'd love to see it in person.
