We went to see the Rex Whistler exhibition. What a talent - cut short on his first day of action at Caen in 1944. The rest of the visit was really good as well.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond That one room he painted is amazing, no wonder it took him just under a year to complete. And that smoking vase in an alcove - its so 3D, it needs a double take to realise it really is on a flat wall.
