2nd Book of 2017! Well, it’s really left over from 2016… However I was almost finished with it at Christmas time and I left it on a plane! (I sure hope the person who found it likes it as much as I did!) It’s a fascinating account of the day-to-day running of the White House told by retired staffers… the Butlers, Cooks, Electricians, Florists, Nannies, etc. The Downton Abbey of the White House, for sure! One of my favorite non-fiction books of all time! Loved all of the things that I learned about Presidents, First Ladies, First Kids, and the routines that go on behind the scenes of the world’s most famous residence. You will love it!
