3rd Book of 2019… Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again. A Famous first line from a Daphne de Maurier Classic… Rebecca! I have had this book for years. It was my Mother’s from her “Book of the Month” membership back in the day. The copyright on this one is 1938! I have wanted to read it all of these years and now that I have, I am sure glad I did! A story who’s narrator has no name, at least we never know her by any thing other than Mrs. De Winter. My idea of this book was nothing like what it turned out to be… Romance, Intrigue, Suspense, Mystery, Murder?! If you haven’t read this forgotten Classic, you should! You won’t be disappointed!
