Just a little something from last week. I keep being too busy to shoot new stuff. But oh well. It'll soon be summer vacation and it'll begin with two weeks in Rome, followed by a long weekend in Stockholm, so I think I'll be able to make up for lack of uploads now... ;)
Wheee I'm excited for you. What's the itinerary look like for Rome?
On to your photo here... this is beautiful. It's like symmetry made human, perfectly imperfect. Organic symmetry? I'll go with that. In any case, it's alluring and a great spot.
@louuncouth My itinerary is packed full of touring the city. Each day we'll visit sites from different eras of Roman history and so on. Lots of free time included in the schedule, as well. Just enough for me to make a quick dash to Tuscany, as well. ;) I'll be posting in my travel blog again, I'll post the link here later. :) And thanks, the shot is taken at a local church yard. Nice location, really.
@joa Sounds fabulous. I will definitely take a look at your blog come the trip.
Okay, last question, promise (you don't have to indulge my nosiness if you don't want to :p) - how much Italian can you speak? :D
@louuncouth Lol! Not much, to be honest. But with basic knowledge of Latin, French and some Spanish, I can understand some written stuff. I did start a course in Italian a few years back, but was forced to drop it out of my schedules thanks to work. (Been wanting to take it up again, but still too busy for it, bah.) So now I've been browsing through my textbook a bit. Plus I got a nifty translator app for my iPhone. It speaks the phrases out for me! :D But two weeks in Italian surroundings - I expect I'll pretty much be able to learn some of the basic phrases myself. :)
