Just got a new batch of film developed & scanned. Yay for Yashica! :)

I'll second that Yay! I just love that you can make out the bird on each lamppost. How thoughtful of them to pose for you.

@louuncouth I'm so glad you noticed them! Not much of a zoom available with the Yashi. :D

Wonderful sky and scene.

Sounds exhausting! Do you like the waiting part?
Cool clouds. :)

@humphreyhippo It is actually quite fun to wait for a change, instead of the immediate feedback of digital files. With b&w film it took a full week before I got the scans back. I'm re-learning patience! ;)

Love the sky! The composition makes it come forth so well.

@sassik Only now I'm thinking it would've been really, really nice in colour. Originally I thought I'd shoot just b&w with the Yashica (I don't know why, but it felt like b&w would fit the camera better) but once I noticed how lovely the colour shots are... :D I've got to go back to the beach to see the clouds with some colour film in the machine! :D

@joa You should try out colour too! I could spend some warm spring afternoons at the beach, waiting for the clouds to form the right shapes ...

@sassik I've done some colour stuff already (like the double exposure shot), but so far it's 3 b&w films and 1 colour. But the film really makes for super lovely retro skies! ;) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152185891745787&set=oa.1431047713815247&type=3&theater

Clouds look better on film. Fact.

@northy Thanks! I've shot this place several times, but on film - better! ;)
@janim Definitely a fact. :D
