Clapper Bridge by jon_lip

Clapper Bridge

Went for a walk yesterday to a very small village called Eastleach. They have this ancient clapper bridge with a trout stream running under it. It's a lovely and very peaceful place. The church had its footpath closed off as it was deemed unsafe because it had been struck by lightning and some of the roof had been blasted off. Lightning bolts on a church - whatever next??

I used a 10 stop filter to get the water silky looking and this shot was 20 seconds long.
Beautiful scene and love the silky water. Even though I have a ND filter, I seem to struggle to get this sort of image! Fav

I'm looking closely at water pictures to work out how people did them - thanks for the info! Looks a delightful place. I think I'll bring my mug of tea and sit on that bench awhile......

@megpicatilly Thank you Catherine, just keep practicing with the ND filters - one thing about digital, you don't have to wait a week to get your efforts back from Boots in order to change your settings !!

@casablanca Thanks Casa ... best to sit on that bench in inclement weather, as soon as it gets warmer or brighter, people seem to pop up from everywhere (usually on that bench)!
