Really getting on withe garden re-design now. We picked up and moved over 24, 2 feet square slabs and moved them to the side of the house, relaid 4 of them and set my hand made round 'ying-yang' stepping stone and then moved 1 ton of gravel and set some of our patio pots on it. Nearly finished, just the foundations of an old wall round the side of the conservatory to smash up, a wall to build and a skip to fill ... bring it on!!
I do love a project! It is such a great feeling to stand and admire it when it is done and finally decide it was worth all the hard work and frustrating moments. You have a lovely garden, nice viewpoint to photograph from.
@casablanca Thanks for your comments on the garden. We've been meaning to get on with it for some time now. Today I mowed the grass at the front, side and back - even trimmed the edges of the flower beds and tackled a bit of weeding! Hailstones 10 minutes after I'd finished :-)
