These are my faithful heavy duty gardening gloves that came into play today as I decided to clear out the gutters and down-pipes of an enormous amount of muck made up from the moss that the starlings knock from the tiles, the stuff that comes from their rear quarters and general grunge! A disgusting job and made all the worse as I'm teetering around at the top of a ladder (don't like heights) with a bucket and a trowel with my wife holding the bottom of the ladder with her foot stopping it from (maybe) slipping away. Anyway, I'm glad it's done for another year!! :-)
Ingenious idea for a photo! My husband and I completed that exact job last week and it was just as you describe! A horrible job but somebody's gotta do it.
