What a lovely starry night and so blue! I have never managed to pick up stars yet on a photo. I see you used a 10 sec exposure. Must give this a whirl! Wonderful sight, very Vincent van Gogh!

Yes it was a beautiful evening. My wide-angle lens (12mm) was wide open at f/2.8 and the ISO was 2000. Trial and error with these settings (isn't digital wonderful?)
I had to remove a bit of noise in post as the ISO was so high.
ps. It was cold standing around in the garden though!
@jon_lip Ah, I dream of having an f/2.8 lens! (Dear Santa, are you listening? lol) Yes, that anxious wait for processing removed when you can just look at what you took immediately and decide if it worked! Digital is amazing.
