Goodbye Buttercups

This was taken from an upstairs bathroom and it's the last time that buttercups will be seen on this meadow for another year. Soon they will be turning it over to dry and then be baling it up. There was a red kite circling overhead waiting for any 'collateral damage' to be revealed for breakfast!
Shame to see them go?

Good photo. Interesting that they bale Buttercups. Do they feed it to animals?

I have no idea Gary. I guess the majority of it is grass so, yes I should think that cows or some such will get this in the winter.
