Not a bird photographer by any means. I was trying other ideas when I noticed birds and aimed my camera skyward, never expecting anything worth anything. Low and behold I got one. I believe it is a young golden eagle but could be completely wrong.
@gardencat@pistache@shannejw Luck, simple dumb luck, although I probably will try more often. I suppose that getting a lens which is designed for the feathered should be on the list. Thank you all so much.

Thank you so very much for the fav. @robz We have a few eagle pairs that are regulars here but mostly get have crows and ravens which are just as wonderful. I am still amazed that I got so lucky. @onewing Luck, pure and simple. I have seen photographers with their huge lenses while they capture bird shots, not for me, don't have the skill or patience. @overalvandaan Thank you so kindly.
