Caught a quick shot of a new tradition for our neighborhood, a Thanksgiving Day parade. It was sweet to see them circling around our court and then head back down the road. Only a slight crop to not show the bottom half of my bird feeder.
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate and wonderful day to those who choose not to.
I like how they are active, as most Thanksgiving parades only involve watching for most people. I'm in NYC this year but I did NOT go down to the madness of the parade!
@sdutoit I knew that it was happening but with the exact time, I got lucky. My boys are much too old to do this and G-kids are on the horizon.
@robz We have a mix of ages and getting community spirit perked is tough these days, especially in dicey weather.
@jyokota I used to want to see the Macy's parade in person but now, maybe just the memory of that feeling is enough. I am happy that at least a few brave and fun loving kids took to our streets.

@jgpittenger It was a sweet moment, glad that I got to see it.
@golftragic Thank you kindly, hope your day was happy too,
@pusspup It is always such a treat to see truly honest innocent fun being had.
@haskar So kind of you, hope you had a grand day too.
@jernst1779 I like the turkey truck-at least that's what I think it was supposed to be.
