Repeat Offender

We went a bit further down a favorite trial yesterday and saw a table at which to rest. I noticed this carved into its top. Sad, that he felt the need to do it once but three times is simply over the top and borders on the 'who cares' factor.
Some people just need validation....but it does make for an interesting image.

And now immortalised. Nothing will ever leave the internet. Good gritty shot, gritty

@gamelee Thank you so much but am I contributing to his mis-placed need for fame?
@bubblequeen I am glad that I am an introvert and being unnoticed sits just fine with me.

Some feel authorized to destroy the common space. Great shot and processing.

Old timey election campaign poster ;)
So weird about the every two years date... One can hope that it was significant, cathartic to him or her. Probably not.

The image is very photojournalistic

It made a stark image - but I always feel as though these people are like an animal marking their territory - too bad about everybody else......

It is odd that there are three years noted. And they all look like they were carved at the same time.

I'm not sure why there is such a great need to do this- if you want people to know you exist carving your name of a table will probably not accomplish much- but give of yourself at a place like a soup kitchen and you will be noticed all the time. Ok enough soap box- it's a good shot!

@haskar Grateful for the fav. Can't fix stupid, applies to this person IMO.
@dustyloup They ran short of campaign funds and reused the posters each time- :-)
@pdulis I just read that photojournalism has rules, didn't know that but I did edit slightly for contrast. :-)
@samae Thank you so much. I hope I never run into him- I'd probably give him a big frown.
@robz I guess that I am getting crankier as I get older but fixing inconsiderate isn't much fun.
@jernst1779 You have a keen eye, I think that they were but doesn't make it any less wrong. Thank you so kindly for the fav.

I can't understand it either but I think it would be much worse on a living tree
