Before the Moon by joysabin

Before the Moon

Snagged an iPhone shot about one minute before the moon rose. I was standing just to the left on the sidewalk.

I looked at the time recorded for last night's 'Blue Moon' capture and it was off by about 15 minutes. I hope that I now have the camera recording the time correctly. Today is the 1st day of Daylight Savings time which that goodness Arizona does not adhere to. We don't change but I now have to realize that my sister who lives in LA is one hour behind me.

I also wondered why the street light was out. It may be a cost cutting measure or an effort to comply with the Dark Skies mandate. Anyway, the sunset was nice as well.

Hoping for a good November for all.
Nice one! Wishing you a better November too.

Thank you so very much. I am often very surprised by iPhones and what they are capable of. I am going to try and employ the Albert Einstein quote this month ( "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." - who really care if he did or didn't actually say it ). I am going to ask myself if I am being insane by constantly checking the news.

Beautifully captured - you are lucky not having to change the clocks, I wish we didn't because it now gets dark way too early.

I am very thankful for the kind comments. Not changing has its issues too. Now I have to remember is my family 2 or 3 hours difference, never seem to get it right but then I'm retired so they just smile and put up with me....
