Conceptual: Conceptual photography is a type of photography that illustrates a concept or idea. Take a conceptual photo.

This was our challenge this week. Basically go strange and say something with it. Not really sure I said anything of great importance or intelligent but had some fun along the way. There might be more, not sure what my muse has up her sleeve.
I like this, the eye is a bit eerie, but like the overall effect

Reminds me of a painting by the Polish painter from the XIX Century Wladyslaw Slewinski, titled “Woman combing her hair”. Do you know it?

This is so thought provoking when combined with your explanatory narrative. Thanks for the info and example. :)

I don't know...puts me in mind of the quest for beauty, or maybe I mean for retained youth, or the fear of finding the signs of aging. Or maybe it's just the wine talking.

A little weird but I like it.

Eye of the beholder? Such an intriguing image. Certainly caught my eye.

@domenicododaro I like Mr. Slewinski's work very much. I hadn't heard of his work before. I am looking forward to learning more about his style. I particularly like the mirror reflection in his work.

Thank you all so very much, I truly appreciate your kind comments. I was explaining to my better half, what the week's challenge was. I told him basically that I would just go strange, which isn't too difficult for me. He just laughed but he still supports me unconditionally. The eye idea has been with me for some time, a magnifying mirror can be a real source of weird things.

@joysabin I didn’t either, until I discovered his work was exhibited at an art school in Paris managed by an Italian immigrant, who is the main character of my new novel... 🤓
