Night walking, by joysabin

Night walking,

Riley and I went for a walk at night a couple of nights ago. This was hand held and shot at ISO 12800 1/30th of second @ f1.8. Truly amazed that I got anything worth anything, also left the reading glasses at home so I couldn't really double check the focus very easily.
That is truly amazing! I couldn't do it. =)

I like it! You feel like you're right there- taking that walk at night in this shot. Call me crazy (you'd be right) but it's a fav for me!

Looks quite mysterious!

I like this; focus on the fence and dof are very effective and the lights in the distance really pull you in.

Thank you so much for your kind and supportive comments. I want to practice more of this night work. When I walk at night I really need to make sure of my footing, the sidewalks are uneven in places and my natural klutziness doesn't help any.

Great composition and lighting.

This is really cool - like there is a story starting just as the focus ends on that fence - and, OMG you can do ISO of 12800????? Jealous!

@haskar @catcarter19 Thank you so kindly. I am still learning to work with this Nikon. There is so much to learn and so much fun to have.
