I've heard rumors that a very eccentric person lives here. This is not a public amusement park. But I am always very amused and slightly creeped out every time I drive past. There is also a place like this in Ramona, CA. My guess is it's owned by the same person. At night the lights are on the ferris wheel but there are no people riding it.
What an interesting scene and I love your processing. Years ago I had a friend out in Hemet who rented a house that in the winter was a circus holding place for the elephants, some of the Carnies and a big semi trailer of costumes. We got to play with the costumes! It was like being a grown-up but playing dress-up. Maybe this is sort of off season carnival storage.
Your fabulous processing always amazes me! This has a certain setting style for a Dean Koontz mystery. Ken used to love his books because he's use settings people around here would be familiar with, but as the story moved along, he said he'd have no idea about the places within that he was writing about. (I rather like Suzie's explanation!) @stownsend
