Cool capture. I had one sort of do that to me yesterday on the golf course, after I zipped a ball over it's head. It actually ducked, but didn't think I had hit it that close. Just wish they would stay off of the golf course. :-)
I can understand only too well how he would deter potential criminals. A few years ago we were travelling around Australia and came across an exhibition at a community centre. We walked through a park to the centre to see what time the exhibition opened and discovered three geese 'guarding' the entrance. They were determined not to let us get close and we had to return later when they had moved on.
