This ‘queue organiser and order taker’ at Crêpeaffaire was very cheerful despite the cold this weekend. It’s not one of my ‘go-to’ cafes but I’m glad to see it doing well as one of Rachel’s school friends worked there when she took a gap year from her medical degree. She was learning Spanish and saving up to do a charity stint in South America. Her medical school really encouraged a year out which seems like a good idea as it’s a long haul to get fully qualified even after you have finished your degree.
Weather: cold with a brief snow flurry
Covid: cases low but I wish they weren’t thinking about foreign holidays- I know the travel industry is desperate but it would be desperately frustrating to get a nasty new strain at this point.
Good thing: blankets for garden visitors. And hats. And gloves.
It made me nervous tonight just watching the news & all the Primark queuers! This lady doesn't seem to be over worked...is she peering down the street looking for customers? A fave as I love the look & her pose.
