Church Street by judithg

Church Street

I’ve been AWOL due to a trip to see my dad yesterday. It was lovely to see him and my sister and I walked into his village and went into actual shops. It was slightly weird, though very nice, trying out sofas and chatting to happy shop owners - I really hope we don’t have to close again because it would finish them off mentally. Anyway Steyning is a lovely historic village and until a year or so ago the black and white timber Tudor building here was still being used by Steyning Grammar School (which isn’t a grammar it’s a very good state comprehensive school.)

Weather: overcast (sunny in Cambridge)
Covid: worrying SA variant outbreak, vaccination opened to over 45s.
Good thing: clapping eyes if not hands on family.
Ah hence the five hour drive...I am reading your posts back to front! Looks a beautiful village Judith!

Pretty. Yes agreed, don't think many will be able to cope with another lockdown.

Steyning! We stayed in a barn on a farm there for a little holiday not long after we were married. Loved the village.
