So dad came out of hospital (nothing broken) and got agonising muscle spasms so he’s back in. Nigel and I went down to Sussex not entirely sure if we could do much. Covid restrictions meant we couldn’t be in A&E so we restlessly twiddled our thumbs with my sister and family and eventually took ourselves out to the garden centre for lunch (good outdoor seating!) in between fruitless phone calls. They have a lovely collection of sheds there which somebody has styled for different purposes- so a quick snap of one of those is today’s offering. Anyhow I did eventually get into the hospital to see dad and managed to cheer him up a bit. The Drs seem to think they can get him back on his feet so that’s good.
Weather: nice but still chilly for April
Covid: very relaxed about it at the hospital
Good thing: patient medical staff (but very busy)
Sounds like they can hopefully get your dad sorted out, nice that you could get in to see him...it is so much better to see with your own eyes than depending on others’ reports. This shed is way too clean!
This looks like my sort of place, but way too neat! Patchwork chair, guitar and gardening tools, what's not to like? Do hope your Dad is up and about again soon, it's no fun waiting for news and you can't even spend much time with him.
What a cute shed! Love this.
Sending good thoughts your dad's way. I hope they get him back on track and feeling good very soon! I know that is a huge concern for you. So glad that you were able to do a short visit with him.
Hope all goes well for your dad soon.
