I seem to be getting darker every day.... This is the Quayside in Cambridge and I headed down there in search of a photo of a modern gargoyle but my hands were too cold and I couldn't get a steady shot. I'd already risked dropping my camera in the river several times so I didn't want to push my luck! This area of the river was orginally the docks and although it's now 'regenerated' and home to a few punt hire companies I think this angle still looks quite industrial. A few of the punts are half submerged - definitely not a week for a pleasure cruise.
