On day 1 of ski lessons we found we were no longer above the cloud but in it. Nigel hit the big slopes while the rest of us had our first lesson with stiff, frosty hair - and one or two bruises but we weren't going fast enough to do any real damage - and we were surrounded by three year olds showing us how to do it properly.... Unfortunately, even more fog in the afternoon rather curtailed practice. I chose this as a contrast to the previous picture - from all that rich colour to dull monochrome! SOOC again. The birds looked a bit like English Great Tits but sported Mohecan hairdoes - in the spirit of the trendiest snow boarders we thought!
