I spent all day doing Governor duties at the local Primary School today, helping with recruiting new staff. It was quite an intense day for all concerned and definitely no chance for a photo. I've set up a quick theme shot rather than go with a filler but I'm not sure it's really come off - ah well tomorrow is Saturday so hopefully I can make inroads into my homework as well. The measuring jug is not actually vintage - Adam gave it to me last Mother's Day but it's nicely retro. In the background you can just spot part of the old scales which came from my grandfather-in-law's shop. We don't use them much as they stick a bit but they do have great sentimental value. Thanks for all your recent comments and have a great weekend!
I have seen this measure somewhere for sale recently & thought how good it looked can't remember if it was Lakeland Plastics or not but it makes a great shot ! I have just done my photography homework today. We had to photograph somewhere dominant from different angles using the ISO setting & composing the shots as best we can using the rule of thirds. I have been to a local church on my way back from shopping & taken several shots .
