We have so many apples, pears, plums and blackberries in the garden that it's impossible not to waste the majority of then (especially as every pest and disease in the world is loving the humid weather and we don't spray anything with anything). So you can imagine my delight when Nigel brough two carrier bags of apples and greengages home from a friend who 'wouldn't take no for an answer'. The apples are photogenic though.
Huge thanks for recent comments, faves and new follows (I'll catch up with you soon). I'm short on time and slow on Broadband which is a disastrous combination for 365!! But I'll be doing my best, thanks for your patience..............
Well this is a clever shot & must be a fave Judith partly because I love the red apple against the dark background & the hand just poised underneath but mainly because it is such a sharp picture with no blur what so ever !
Great shot.
The pests and birds 'spoil'most of our fruit. too. Then I think .. How much can I eat anyway? So am adopting a feed the wildlife polocy as I don't, won't can't spray the big trees.
@cookie123@bpaquette@happypat@jannaellen I'm confessing (can't help it - Catholic school) to hanging from cotton on the washing line. Shooting it left handed was very tricky though!!
@judithg Well you are hilarious I would never have guessed but what a brilliant idea !! I can see the nuns at Lark Hill taught you well as I hope my lot did the same at Winckley Square !!!
reat shot Judith - I'm struggling with commenting too - my broadband has gone really slow all of a sudden and I'm finding time is flying past without warning me!
