I've been trying to think up an idea for a TV show that everybody will know but have ended up with a much-loved British comedy classic from the 1970's. This is my representation of the 'hardware shop' sketch - a work of word-play genius written by the late, great Ronnie Barker. I refers to garden forks not cutlery but they wouldn't fit in my pot!
If you've never seen it give yourself a happy Sunday!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnJuqgTFwA0
PS I knew Picnik's 'heat map' would come in to its own one day and mega thanks for recent commenting - I really appreciate it!
Oh they don't make them like the Two Ronnie's any more. mores the pity ! I can't get used to this modern humour at all ! This is a fantastic interpretation Judith ..love the colour , it really hits you !
LOL.
The first tie our new vicar mentioned 4 candles fro Lent he was much puzzled why there was a little giigle running round the church from all us who remembered and lov dthis sketch
Haven't seen the show you speak of but this is so creative! And I've been looking for an excuse to use heat map too:) I think I've managed to pull it off once on some extreme editing.
Came back to this again from the tv shows theme page....isn't it amazing that people haven't heard of the two ronnies.......I guess really their humour was so English it wouldn't really 'translate' that well.....esp the sketches they did singing silly/clever words!
Even though I don't know the show I really like this shot - love the heat map function! Maybe when I'm in Germany again and start missing Cambridge and England too much I'll watch the show.
Great shot! Fork'andles is a common phrase in our house. The boys asked once what we were on about and we found the sketch on Youtube to show them - still very funny - although watching it again, it does go on a bit long!
Judith, I will know the exact moment that M actually finally sees this post..because he is bound to post that link on facebook. The man loves this stuff. @Sabresun
