Sorry - rubbish photo today. We went up to Oundle to watch Adam play hockey. Once again they played really well and made lots of chances but the net was elusive so 1-0 down at the end. Here Adam is pushing off for a short-corner which was smacked very hard but stopped on the goal line by a slightly surprised defender! I chose this because I like the trees really - I need to take out my old camera for sports shots - my new one never gets anything in focus and I may have to resort to the Instruction Manual at this rate! But the main thing was a really exciting game with no injuries or incident. News from the football yesterday brings back terrible memories of the loss of Adam's friend this time last year - come on Muamba, keep fighting....
Hear hear Judith prayers for Muamba. Striking line of trees there makes a good frame for your sports photo. Adam is surrounded by the opposing team so you can pick him out well !
The composition is quite neat. I've not been able to take any decent sports shots, yet. I still remember that sad day last year. Can't believe it's already been almost a year.
@busylady Not this time - we did go for a lovely hot chocolate at 'Beans' last year but we did the school teas this time. It's a very lovely little town when you drive through though.
@bpaquette It's OK - that's his team actually - the opposition are in white waiting to run out of the goal. He can cope with being surrounded anyway - he may be skinny but he doesn't back down!
