I took this photo for my friend Helen who undertook the mammoth task of looking through all of my photos last week. She was a student at Trinity Hall and as I have almost (if not absolutely) no photos of it I thought I should address the situation.
Well my blog has gone live with its first proper post tonight. I feel very self-conscious about it. It's like starting 365 - you feel a bit silly talking to yourself! And while I've got comfortable with writing in this forum because really I'm now chatting to friends the blog feels much more formal. So if anybody feels kind enough and has the time to check it out do tell me what you think. I'm sure it will evolve over time. I don't know much about blogging but I think if you register you get e-mailed when I update (I'm planning on once a week or so) and I can use the number of followers to 'sell myself' when I go in search of interviews - so if anybody feels inclined to do that I'll be very grateful. I hope this link will work http://discovercambridge.wordpress.com/ otherwise if you Google 'Discovering Cambridge with canine and camera' it will come up (obviously everybody will think of googling that!)
I have signed up Judith & it looks very interesting, I have never followed a 'blog' before !!!! Very exciting for you but of course the star of the show is really Monty !!!! love his silhouette with the puddle !!! Before you know it he will have a fan club !!! Lovely bike photo too !
.... at the corner of the street,
In case a certain little lady comes by.
Oh me, oh my, I hope the little lady comes by
Well Judith I know you have a certain subtle 'style' for slipping song titles into your picture titles .....I don't know if George Formby gives you any street cred :) ........or maybe he does :)
Good Luck with your blogging ..how do you find the time :)
Lovely bike shot! and a good start to your blog. Not sure I want to be hit by a halibut (curse you predictive text), but the history with humour makes lovely reading - I'm following :-D
What a great idea - I wish you every success with your blog. The photos so far are superb, I love the one with the dog reflection in the puddle. You have such a way with words too that I'm sure it'll be a great success.
@traeumerlein87 Hi Lisa - I logged on to my daughter's computer to see what it looks like if you don't have an account. There should be a 'Follow' button either at the top or the bottom of the page - you click that and put your e-mail address in I think!
Always love the bike shots. Love the composition of the lamppost and buildings. Looked at the blog link, looks great but couldn't find a follow button. Maybe need to register. Just love the Monty shot, he will be an instant hit.
Love your composition.
