Roaring Ride by judithg

Roaring Ride

I'm really struggling to find pics at the mo. I wish I had more of the lion's face in this shot but as my long-term followers will know The Fitzwilliam Museum does not allow canines within 6 feet of its entrance gate. I imagine they take a dim view of little girls riding their lions as well but hey... Best large if you've got time.
In other news my head is feeling a lot more normal - thanks for all your concern :0)
They would hate it if they could see these little girls on the lion. Good for them though, it looks like fun!

Perhaps if you'd whistled the lion would have turned and smiled. Never mind, it's a rather charming retro shot.

Too cute. I totally understand no smoking for 10 (or 100!) feet but no dogs? Crazy

@jgpittenger Lovely photo and follow!

@jgpittenger I tied him on a short lead to the gate once and they shot out and told me dogs aren't allowed 'on the premises'. I looked at Monty and he literally only had one paw over the threshold of their grounds and said, 'Not even a paw?' and he wasn't amused!!!

Those little girls are loving that ride & who would be mean enough to throw them off. The sepia look is just right for this shot & I think we have all got fuzzy brains with no ideas !

I know what you mean regarding struggling to find shots!
This is nice though, the processing gives it a lovely vintage feel too =)

Cute photo! And about the dog rules, all you can assume is that there was a mishap with bad dog parents and their unruly dog. When I run into situations like this I always think how the bad behavior of just one person can ruin things for a LOT of people. Sigh.
Love the BW--- makes this photo timeless. :-)

My fav part of this shot isnt the lion, but the row of columns along the bottom. Love the sepia. Works well. :)

Fun shot, I thought of the 'witch, lion and wardrobe' the sepia really suits and I am glad you are feeling better.

Narnia was my first thought! Aslan wouldn't mind his riders! Love the balustrade!
