Hmmm - quite a few things wrong with this but I did at least take it today. Nigel went to a Christmas lunch yesterday with one of our clients and they had a secret santa thing. His present was a huge pack of blue baubles. Nice but we'd just finished decorating the tree. I feel I should be able to do some other sort of artistic display... Meanwhile I squeezed them into a glass dish that's about to get a nut roast in it and then spent a lot of time chasing baubles around the floor - which is why there's a sort of gap on the right hand side. I need to do a lot more work on this fairy light bokeh business - I just can't nail the lighting.
Three good things:
1. Nice walk with Rachel and her excellent hoop throwing arm.
2. Hoping to get to the primary school carols tonight unless Adam decides to take me to his school's posh version.
3. Still feeling fairly calm about the presents that haven't arrived and the radio silence around them...I think...maybe!!!
The tension surrounding deliveries .. lack of .. just late .. gone AWOL has become part of the build-up .. The you start thinking of back-up plans... This way Madness lies ......
@maggiemae So would I but be wasn't home in time and has just been too busy with coursework this year. I've been before and I'll get him to take me next year - they hold the service in St John's College Chapel which is very lovely.
Haha! I can imagine you chasing baubles round the floor....! I was grovelling on the floor for my photo in my alternative album today, more friction burns on my knees and elbows..... all in the cause of 365! I like the riot of colour in this and all the shiny-ness!!
kudos to you here Judith! I tried to do a 'simple' red bauble photo tonight and 10 attempts down the line and a lot of 'baubles with a mind of their own' I gave up for the photo I finally uploaded! Why do seemingly simple photos create so many problems!
great baubles shot...I'm still working on that while cup of bokeh thing...and as for Xmas presents that haven't arrived, I thought I was all done when a friend of the pal I'm going to see in Dubai called to say there will be an Amazon delivery coming at some point before I go...just I'm not going to be in much so could end up missing it...then have to run around like a nutter before leaving for the airport, I can just see it!
