I took Monty for an out of town romp this afternoon as the pavements have gone brown and slushy but you can still get nice squeaky snow in the fields. It was pretty bleak but here he is trying to decide whether to go in pursuit of a fellow canine. He did decide to go but was intercepted by a field spaniel who gave him a good run around.
A couple of flying egrets in Extras. http://365project.org/judithg/extras/2013-01-23
Three good things:
1. I found my kit lens in the snow on the way back to the car. I didn't know I'd lost it (must have fallen out when I got my camera out thanks to Monty jumping around thinking the hoops were coming out) and it was hardly even wet. I so nearly came back a different route that it's a miracle really.
2. It rose above freezing today so the roads are much better (though it was snowing in this photo)
3. Made more work progress and the IT changes I made yesterday were definitely worth it.
Either way worth chasing! Good news about your lens. That would have been upsetting. Poppy helped me find a lens cap once though. Sniffed it out from a bush.
picture made me laugh.

how bizzare i took Jasmine on her country walk today and with my camera and i dropped my lens cap well nothing new there lol i think its the Grinch @fueast making us feel guilty anyway upload one tomorrow :) Monty looks adorable all teddy bearish lovely shot
I so agree about Montys body language...every one can read him like a book obviously, we all know him so well by now! Hurray for the red jacket & even more for the found lens!!!!!!!!!!!!
Monty sure looks like he is about to have some fun! And to think of all the years of training to get the show dogs to stand like this! And I am imagining that ditch wouldn't slow him down much.
I can practically see the wheels turning in Monty's head as he weighs his options while holding that ready-to-spring-into-action stance. A wonderful look at a winter scene from Monty's perspective. :)
Lucky to get some one in a nice red coat too. :)

So bonus points for the red anorak!
