Another day, another hockey tournament so although I took a load of photos I'm going with a filler. After a while all hockey photos with unidentifiable players look very similar! They did win the tournament though so they are through to the first regional knock out in March - where I'm afraid to say the usually get beaten but you never know! Anyway - I originally used this as a layer and merged it with the original to tone it down but I'm feeling a bit of colour won't go amiss in my album.
Parents' Evening tonight ;0/ so catch up later. Not a good thing - I got a parking ticket because the little payment receipt thing blew upside down when I closes the car door :0(
Three good things:
1. February tomorrow
2. Sunshine (even if the wind is freezing)
3. @wildernesswillie 's amazing moving comment in @jodimuli 's dyslexia photo http://365project.org/jodimuli/365/2013-01-30
Love the color. You are sounding pretty fancy there with the layer talk. My son was a hockey player. I have to say I do miss the games and tournaments. Good luck to them at the regional.
Yes nice bit of colour. The wind is rampant here. Trees are creaking and a few have come down. Ran very quickly from the woods this morning - the noises were just too spooky.
How cheerful, I do love a colourful photo specially on grey January days.
A fave for the zing !! good luck to your hockey players & of course they are going to win this year!!!!!
Was rather a special post...my grandson William has dyslexia but was statemented in primary school & got 11 passes at GCSE level so don't give up!!!
love the processing, rubbish about the parking ticket. that happened to us in Crete..it was great trying to talk our way out of that one.. still can't chance visiting there again as there may be a warrant out for us!
omg glad too see the back of January bring me spring oh saw your comment on my selfie had me in stiches dont think i replied not had much browsing time you do make me smile :)
@streetlyend My daughter's at IVC were like that - not helped by her booking appointments straight after each other in totally different parts of the school. When I went to Adam's yr 7 one at Perse there were 25 sets of parents and we had a carefully organised timetable e-mailed to us. Felt quite exposed though! 75 sets of parents today but still carefully choreographed. Still only 5 mins/ teacher though - plenty!
@judithg Oh, silly me! We are so crazy about ice hockey here where I live that when I hear the word "hockey" that's what I envision. Actually, field hockey is becoming more popular here, especially with girls.
Wonderful look at the colorful lineup on the river...including the swan lead in. Good luck to Adam and his team in the March regionals! And boo to your one bad thing...life's just not fair. :)
