I'm pretty sure that the two boys are Joshua and George Harliono who are 13 and 12 respectively (there's also a 9 (8?) year old sister who plays the cello). They go to Adam's school and George is something of a child prodigy but I must admit that I especially enjoyed listening to Joshua playing his violin today. If you Google George in particular you can hear him play as he has a blog and is all over YouTube. They were doing well for money and had an appreciative audience especially amongst the young Chinese visitors who know a thing or two about child prodigies.
Taking a note out of @tishpics' book I also focussed on the audience. To be fair I couldn't have missed the bowler hatted young lady - she exuded an almost visible aura.
Just realised that I should have mentioned some of the good things from the actual 16th - ordered a new and even larger shower head to replace the one which is split and pretty much just dumping water on us, took my friend out for a birthday lunch and had a rendez vous with the sweetest ducklings in the world in their hatching incubator (iPhone camera not quite up to it though)
Three good things:
1. Quite a few interesting subjects today (Saturday) so that I could catch up on a blank day yesterday.
2. I met my old cleaner in town - looking really well - must be not having to clean my house!
3. Rachel (and everybody else) survived her first lone car journey.
super shot judith and the bowler hatted girl does indeed look elegant and beautiful...she's also got a nice bit of kit too...possibly a Nikon 1 with a top end interchangeable lens
I seem to remember you having taken a shot of this piano playing lad before? Or my memory might be failing me! Love your use of the diptych to show both points of view xx
Love to see these young musicians playing & a very clever idea catching the audience too...part of the pleasure is seeing how people react!!
