It was a lovely bright clear day on which to do battle with the M25 (so different to our journey in torrential rain in August) and when I got home Nigel had a gap between meetings and came with Monty and me on our walk. He said when he walked Monty yesterday he was getting odd looks from people who obviously recognised the dog but not the walker!
The wind has blown all the leaves from the plane trees on to one side of the park and there was a veritable paparazzi out with cameras. The colours here are SOO camera which has an internal 'Velvia' film setting - I quite like them. Nigel wandered into my carefully composed shot with Monty's hoop - you can't get the staff.
Three GT:
1. A big breakfast
2. A good walk to burn the calories
3. Almost November and still some glorious days - I need to go back and check but I'm pretty sure that this time last year was cold already.
A willing model & lucky Monty to have two walkers today, he would be thrilled to be out with you both...funny that people put you & Monty together always!
You are liking your camera then Judith just right for me but funds don't run to one of those ....all my money gone on flight!
Love this shot Judith. The hoop is poised perfectly, But where is Monty? Where do you get your hoops, looked for some in scotsdales but none to be seen!
@lucypics no - the shops seem to have stopped stocking them - I think probably because the 'throwers' break. If you chuck them over arm so that they rotate in the same direction as the roll you don't need a thrower. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Replacement-Ring-for-Zinger/dp/B002ALP584/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_0 There's a very similar 'Dog activity ring' but they are a bit less robust when chewed - we don't let Monty have his rings at home because he walks round pestering everybody and will eventually chew a hole in them.
Haha :o) They do that don't they ;o) Funny how I never mind actual strangers in my shots but I feel as if I'm cheating if I know them! It's a fab shot anyway and frankly if you hadn't said it was Nigel would be a great candid shot xx
I love his (accidental) pose and those leaves are truly gorgeous! You should use Nigel more often as an unintentional photo model ;). Last November might have been cold but Little J's birthday on the 9th was really mild and warm - I remember ;).
