Cross Keys by judithg

Cross Keys

A little detail on Trumpington Road. I think this building belongs to Peterhouse as although their insignia is not cross keys, they use it for their boat club so it must have some significance.
I've been trying to find somebody to go to see Paul Hollywood with me in May - he's doing some sort of demo/talk thing. Don't think the boys will go with me...
Three GT:
1. A good win for Adam's hockey team
2. A big pile of ironing defeated
3. Off to see 'Philomena' tonight.
I'll go with you! Is it in Cambridge?

I love the reds and this and the smooth marble. The rambling flowers are so natural in contrast to the seal and the stone.

Paul Hollywood is on TV with Jonathan Ross as I write....those bread needing hands!!!! Will be interested in your verdict on Philomena...I am definitely going next week..how could I not when that is my name....don't tell anyone though!!
I like the link up with the colour, it looks very pretty.

@happypat We enjoyed it - the acting is great. The convent doesn't come out smelling of roses of course though not QUITE as bad as The Magdalene Sisters.

@judithg @lucypics Just up my street ..why are we living so far away....I would be up on stage if only to have a look at those kneading hands. Funnily enough he was much more quieter & shier on the Jonathan Ross show, seemed to be quite embarrassed but the whole fame thing, might be my imagination though! Said it was the biggest mistake of his life....male ego!!
Thank goodness not quite as bad ...so embarrassing!! My friend wants to see One Chance first on Tuesday , then Philomena then The Butler.

@happypat I didn't think Jonathan Ross did a great interview - he's too much in to himself and he really skirted around that bit about the affair whereas Richard Bacon (who I don't even like) got much more of an exclusive on the radio. He was asking PH if he was cross with the press because he got such a hard time after his 'big mistake' and he said it was his own fault and he had to take responsibility for his actions - those kneading hands are dangerous. I so wish you were nearer Pat - it would be hilarious if you went on stage - especially now @lucypics has let me down on that front ;0)

@judithg Poor @lucypics...she needs to get a bit of age about her...you don't care when you get old!! I agree Jonathan Ross likes the sound of his own voice far too much!h
