I confess I took this yesterday but couldn't decide which photo to post so I didn't try too hard today! It's a windy, chilly day but the sky has been blue so we can't complain. We enjoyed Philomena last night - Adam was looking around the packed out Picturehouse and decided that he was the youngest patron - and Nigel and I were next youngest! Well I think it's because we were in the early evening performance but it's important these days to maximise the likelihood of staying awake.
Three GT:
1. Judy Dench, fantastic acting and sex education in schools.
2. Lovely walk and tea with friends.
3. One more day of half term for Adam so no extra-early alarm clock until Tuesday.
I laughed out loud at your reasons for going early to the cinema...don't think you are quite in that category yet Judith....you should see us all when we go in the afternoon, you would think you were young then big time!! The shop looks delightful & every thing sounds delicious....I hope that bike is chained up!!
Smokers get everywhere & I am speaking as an ex smoker so not being stuffy...they do rather litter the pavements....that hair is very brave!!
@jgpittenger Oh she's had a bad hip that was threatening to scupper her travel plans and a broken couple of lenses - I meant to tell you she's posted an update on things on my pumpkin photo.
An interesting photo - all the food offered, the two conversing in the doorway, and the great bike! We have one like that permanently outside a bakery!
I like the contrast between the nostalgic looking cafe and bike and the very modern couple - and I know just what you meaning about maximising your chances of staying awake.
I can't stay awake for anything at the moment - we've pretty much had to give up on DVDs and I even got a sneaky few zzzs in at the theatre the other day.
That is pricy soup, even by london standards.
