A filler from yesterday I'm afraid as the light today really was pathetic. I moaned about it on our walk and got no sympathy at all from Nigel - you just can't get the staff. The leaves are still around today though and somewhat booby trap the park as you can't see where the big squelchy muddy puddles are.
Our Sunday night venture out to the Arts Cinema has been scuppered this weekend as we have seen everything except a three hour long 18-rated lesbian love fest with subtitles - good reviews but not Adam's number one choice for viewing with parents (and anyway he isn't 18) or Gravity which none of us really fancy.
Four GT:
1. I have finished the curtains - woohoo!
2. Rachel dropping in for a visit (and karate) next weekend.
3. Adam has found a movie on iTunes so we will pretend to be at the cinema.
4. I have sorted out most of the calendar photos - just got to upload and fiddle around with them now - a job for tomorrow.
Leaves really are a beautiful combination of colours & crunch....I see you are back to using your DSLR more at the moment Judith...I haven't used mine since I got my new one.
Gravity has got really good reviews....I know what you mean about not quite fancying a space movie though.
Fabulous light and so sharp - I love it! I'm one step ahead with the calendars - we have them back and ready to post off to Canada! Wahay! We went to see The Duck House in Cambridge last week - excellent performance by Ben Miller and so funny.
The light's beautiful in this and I love all the different colours of the leaves. The autumn colours are getting better and better it seems. I waved to you on my way back from Sandringham yesterday ;)
I'm a total space skeptic but sat through Gravity with my mouth hanging open - do it, do it! (Lovely leafiness btw - I went with leafy today, not that I'll be posting it till about 2016 at this rate.)
