Rafiki has rescued me from another filler today. I was taking a few desperate pics of slightly blowy branches in the way back from closing up the hens and she saw fit to engage me in conversation. If you're wondering, she is saying, 'Would you mind awfully getting out some Whiskas treats for me?'
Unfortunately the light was rubbish as usual and it should be sharper but today I am a beggar and cannot be a chooser.
3GT:
1. Fab response to yesterday's photo - lovely.
2. The calendars have come and the photo print quality has really improved this year - I'm pleased with them.
3. Fab lunch with the book club ladies - I may never need to eat again.
You can tell she is a pedigree cat by her stripes...the whiskers cat may look ordinary but the stripes have it!!
Foul weather but the flooding is worse....I would hate to live any nearer the sea than I am!
Hope we see a bit of the calenders!!
At first glance I thought this was a paper/cardboard Victorian mask. A marvelous Rafiki capture. I'm not at all sure what I'm seeing in the lower left corner of this shot, but it kind of looks like an orange hose dispensing wine into a wine glass. Guess that says something about my state of mind today. :)
@happypat Ooh not pedigree - her father was a really rough old stray tomcat - one of two brothers who both 'abused' our beautiful silver and white tabby. All over the place as well- on the doorstep, under the car when all the school kids were going past - it was a nightmare! Saw a pic of Blackpool tower on the BBC - no seaside visits today - too dangerous!
@peggysirk Hahaa - it's a watering can and some candle holders that I 'tidied' up by putting them outside - they are half full of rain water. There is quite a bit of clutter by the shed there since I moved everything for the big storm that didn't happen - quite handy for today though as it's been pretty windy!
She looked quite angry in the thumbnail! Lovely plaintive look with her eyes looking beseechingly up at you! Lol about the 'tidied up' wine glass half full of wine! I want some of whatever Peggy is on! @peggysirk
This is in the "pleasing lack of definition" category - and none the worse for it! I really think it's terrific, you've caught that cat "attitude" perfectly.
Love the way you have given rafiki a posh accent. All cats have posh accents I think! She is a pretty cat and definitely engaging in conversation. Downloaded where d'you go Bernadette! think I am going to enjoy it.
@judithg Well actually they were friends before and were just playing nicely when a rampant retriever came along and started humping everybody which set things off. Oh dear
