Completely unprocessed - just cropped a little. The light at Welney yesterday was really quite remarkable. The entrance fee seems quite expensive to me but was worth every penny for this visit.
What incredible light, so nice not to need to process. My finger always hits the automatic button on snap seed which increases the contrast but it is knowing when to leave well alone. This is a perfect SOOC shot
You will be back then...great to find a new venue & subjects, I must do the same. I like the slit of the viewing bit in the hide...wonderful soft winter light Judith.
Hi Judith....just passing by, as I often do! This is so lovely and i love the swan action from yesterday. Welney is one of fav places to go in winter. Make a point of going late in the afternoon and staying to see the feeding. You can sit in the wawrm observatory and watch the frenzy as the guy comes out with a wheelbarrow full of seed. That would certainly be good for your son's project. Will think of you during Kings College Carols!! Fave!
This is stunning - I particularly like the light on the grasses at the front. Must go to the Wetland centre near us soon (it does cost a fortune though doesn't it). My mum's always talking about taking us to Welney when the geese are migrating but we've never made it yet.
