Jack Wills at Blue Hour by judithg

Jack Wills at Blue Hour

I ended up in town this afternoon as Adam needed a haircut and a jacket for school. Although I had a couple of jobs to do while I was waiting for the haircut, it took so long that I ended up having to go in Waterstones to buy books. Jack Wills is in a rather elegant building just next door and somebody had conveniently parked a bike. We are heading off early to look at and hopefully buy a car tomorrow - all very well but I had quite a few jobs lined up for the morning and we will all have to go - one to bring our car home and one to accompany Rachel home (and I can tell you now that that person will not be me!)
Three GT:
1. I spent all morning tackling the accounts and the new software so I feel slightly less stressed by it.
2. I didn't quite get run over by an ambulance while squatting in the road to take a puddle shot.
3. iPhone cameras.
Jack Thingy is really expensive isn't it? Well done on the new software. I still haven't found what I want in elements. Kind of annoying.

I like looking in Jack Wills but am always the oldest person in there....mind you Lydia is more into grungy stuff these days. & looks like a boy most of the time much to her mothers despair! A beautiful bloom on here.....love the whole construction of the shot.
Hope you buy the car & you find a bargain.
Rosamond Franklin?

iPhone photos have got me out of a tight spot a few times on 365...... And the best camera is the one in your hand!!

@fueast the woman on the Royal Institution lecture has just annoyed me by talking about apoptosis (2 p's) when it should be pronounced apo-tosis - does she know nothing?!!

A lovely bright photo of the street with your bike special in it! I'm glad I don't have to have any new driver experiences now! Good luck!

@happypat physicist who did X-Ray crystallography of DNA - the photos were sent away for a grant application which should have been confidential but they were shown to Watson & Crick who then used them... She died of cancer probably brought on my radiation and so never received a Nobel Prize.

@judithg I pronounce it like that too! But I'm just proud I know what it means which is quite good for someone who hasn't even got Olevel biology. oo if she's about to kill a rat I could go off her. (the reason why I don't have Olevel biology...)

Fabulous shot with your iPhone. Do you have the lens attachment? Really like the cosy evening feel to this shot and Jack Wills, yes, been in, browsed realising I could only afford a canvas bag or pair of boxer shorts!

4.21 and it's dark! Still we have Snowdrops starting to appear in the garden. Like the pov in this shot and the lighting.
