If you think there's an air of desperation about my photos you're right. A horrible day today so no motivation at all to force the mutt out on a walk. Consequently I 'wasted' most of the day reading a book (City of Women by David Gillham - enjoyed it). I should have been doing something useful and I also realise that I feel better for a good walk outside even when the weather is dreadful and although it's sometimes a chore and interrupts other things being forced out by the dog is a very good thing.
Three GT:
1. I burned myself quite badly on the oven yesterday - badly enough that it actually doesn't hurt!
2. Nigel has been more efficient than me and has tidied the loft and been to the tip (I did feel guilty enough to do the ironing at that point!)
3. Busy day and evening tomorrow.
A lovely high key shot and it doesn't look desperate to me! Seems that the weather has been happening over the whole UK today. I had to go and collect a bed in the horizontal rain - not fun!
Beautiful creamy background and my favourite flowers. Lovely shot Judith, I know what you mean about the dog walks! you feel much better for having to go out come rain or shine. Is Monty improving? Yes you are right bad burns don't hurt, look after yourself :-)
A day much like mine then.......beautiful bouquet, lovely creams & pinks & purples.
Funny we always said if you are forced out of the house...for us it was milking cows but we always felt better for it in the end.
Bad burns hurt like the very devil when the blisters burst though....feel sorry for you as they take ages to heal!
@lucypics Not sure quite what's up with him - seems ok pain wise but very quiet & nightmare getting him to walk. Might drive him somewhere different tomorrow to chivvy him up a bit.
@judithg Well yes I think you were on Wednesday... Any good that film? I was going to take my dad but without seeing it he said it was completely inaccurate.
Lovely setting for this super posy of tulips! All pointing in different directions. Your burn will hurt, guarantee it - its just waiting till you go to bed!
nice flowers judith...it was horrible today...when i took ruby out at 9am for her morning walk it was only raining lightly...by the time we got to the park it was blowing wild and heavy...needless to say we both returned dripping wet ...and i mean dripping my coat made a puddle on the floor as i hung it up to dry !
Sorry re your miserable day. I recently got a terrible burn like that tripping and falling into our wood burning stove. Ouch. Hope you have a better day tomorrow
