We have been letting Monty chase balls even though the beloved hoops have been banned. It's a balance between upsetting his dodgy neck and getting slower and fatter. Sometimes he gets to sit still and catch a ball so I can take photos...
It is 'Caesarian Sunday' in Cambridge today - one of the Sundays in which Britain's finest brains disgrace themselves by getting very drunk in public. In this case it's the last Sunday before the exams start so probably the actual finest brains are still in rooms revising. The other day is Suicide Sunday when the exams finish and they are all at it. The products of Britain's finest educational establishments can be seen in Extras.
Three GT:
1. It was still only 2pm when we were at Jesus Green so things hadn't degenerated too much.
2. The policemen who were approached by a student on a bike. He knew it wasn't his and asked them if they could tell him whose it was. They said, 'We can - but mostly we specialise in police brutality.' :0)
3. The girls who had fallen off the bike every 6 feet or so. I know it's bad behaviour but it was quite funny (bet they're sore tomorrow). http://365project.org/judithg/extras/2014-05-04
Look at Monty...he's in fine form following his neck issues and surgery! I would love to be sitting on a bench catching some of the Caesarian Sunday action in Cambridge. :)
Clever boy - bet you have to place that ball really carefully. We're in a similar position with Luna (though nowhere near as bad) but even after two weeks of minimal walks she's piling it on!
Such a proud pose in the first two and then success in the third - very nice! There is a dog just like Monty walking around our neighbourhood at the moment and he always makes me think of you two - quite nice. Loved your nr. 2 - so funny!
I presume you are talking about the brains of the students and not the lecturers who get drunk in public! Goodness what an excuse to do all sorts of wild things! I bet you don't want Monty to become fat like you see a lot of spaniels become! He looks so neat here!
