At the mill pond

While just about every teenager in the county is at Secret Garden Party (a hippy arty festival thing) Rachel was asked if she would help out at the souvenir stall on the bridge at Silver Street. She nipped down to get instructions and I walked over to the other side of the river so that Monty could get a drink on yet another hot day. It took me a while to sort out the panorama thing in my iPhone as it goes miles round - I've cropped quite a bit off he right hand side.
Three GT:
1. All the food shopping done for holiday and for those staying behind (big bill not quite so good).
2. A wedding on the river bank. A bit sparkly and neon for my taste but they were having a great time.
3. My friend who is in London for a wedding had a spare ticket for Richard III with Martin Freeman so I went down and joined her. We were in the middle of the front row which meant a good dowsing with stage blood in the second half. She has brought a dreadful dose of poison ivy reaction (including very swollen face and eyes) from home so she was doing very well to sit and watch anything.
A marvellous panoramic view , I have been to this pretty spot with Helen

I must learn to do this......it gives you such a great idea of the area ...the river is so much wider than I imagined!
Have a wonderful holiday Judith.......I am sure you will get some excellent photos.

Great panorama. I wonder if I can do this on my phone. I've done it by taking shots on my camera and stitching them together in photoshop, but it's a bit fiddly.

This looks sooo cool. I'm really considering getting an IPhone just for the camera ;). Martin Freeman, lucky you! You're lucky in general to see all those amazing British actors live on stage. We saw Patrick Steward in London once, the play was rubbish but Steward is my hero ;)). I hope your friend is all recovered now!

It works well with a panorama shot as there is so much to see! Is the river high with all that grass in it! Poor friend with that poison ivy reaction - it has the right name!

I tried to panorama Strawberry fields but it didn't work very well. Fond memories of SGP's in my misspent youth (well, youth might be putting it a bit high, but when I wasn't as old as I now find myself).
