The 'magic maple' has lost all of it's leaves. This little one looked striking on the gravel by the pond. A reasonably forgettable day attempting to use IKEA's online kitchen design thing as John Lewis wasn't terribly helpful. It's a bit tricky and I seem to have added all sorts of extra things in that I can't now get rid of. Adam started half term so it sort of feels like Friday and Rachel is coming home next week for some karate stuff - looking forward to catching up with how the term's going.
Great contrasts. I was going to suggest the IKEA tool. Its a long time ago but I used it - and I do now have a kitchen which I like so it must have sort of worked. The plumber though was furious about me choosing ikea cupboards as they don't have a recess at the back for pipe work and he had to move all the plumbing to the floor. Perhaps worth checking? You do get deep cupboards though.
@fueast I must say that the sink business was really confusing - they didn't really seem to want me to have one! Also no way of blocking out a boiler but lots of choices for pipes. I did, however manage to get a fridge freezer and a fridge that I didn't know I'd added! If I knock those off though the prices are good - just wish it was a bit nearer as it will involve going in a few times.
Very, very beautiful! Just like some magic placed it there perfectly for you to find it. Good luck with that kitchen - sounds really exhausting to me :(.
