Globe and Jerusalem displayed rather pleasingly together. Monty and I hung around the market while Nigel nipped in a couple shops. Monty was attracting lots of fuss and attention but looking rather morose at the loss of his master. Things looked up for him though when a man walked past and casually fed him half a sausage. Didn't even look at me for approval - just as if he was posting a letter....
I would get mad at that guy! What if Monty was on a diet! What if Monty was not allowed sausage for some reason! I love artichokes but have never seen them in a shop!
@maggiemae yes it was very naughty - he may have been veggie! I spend a fortune on expensive food and he spends every walk looking for discarded food and wolfing it down before I can stop him - so in the scheme of things no harm done!
Wonderful composition of these two different artichokes (even if one of them is not a true artichoke!).....I agree with Maggiemae....I would not dare feed an animal that obviously had a master without asking for approval from its owner. There are so many things in human food that could hurt a dog or a cat!
Oh how funny......poor Monty might have been vegetarian! He would be very pleased!
Aren't artichokes a brilliant vegetable but I am ashamed to say I have never eaten one! Lovely photo though!
