The beef I ordered for our 'pre-Christmas' with Rachel didn't materialise last night (neither did the sausages for last night's tea!). So Nigel, the dog and I went to Jesus Green via the butcher and the bike shop for a new inner tube. So tonight we will be eating Red Poll that has grazed on Jesus Green for a very pleasant and somewhat longer than usual life. (I realise that it's shorter than a full innings but still better than most). I'm not sure I can keep up the Christmas titles for another two and a half weeks!
Four GT:
1. Rachel home soon
2. First batch of mince pies
3. King's College choir appearing on the radio to accompany my cooking.
4. My dad - 81 today!
Lovely, lovely, lovely Judith...such a merry shot but an unusual subject. You have good eyes to see the potential in this shot. Shows it always pays to take your camera! Red poll beef, I have never tried that but expect it was full of flavour. Sort of free range beef by the sound of it! Fave for the bells!
@maggiemae That's my good friend's brother-in-law's choir. His wife sang at our wedding and their boys are singing the carols - he writes the blurb. Talented family!
@cdonohoue it's next to Jesus College and Jesus Lane and close to Christ's Pieces. Many of the colleges were built while the university was essentially a religious institution so we have Jesus, Trinity, Christ's, Corpus Christi, St John's (the Evangelist), St Edmund's, St Catherine's, Peterhouse, Emmanuel.....
Of course...the essential bicycles. Great colors. Thanks for stopping by. I just couldnt keep up here but I am still out with my camera and posting on flickr. Have great Holidays. Sorry to her that it sounds as if your shoulder is acting up again. Where is Monty in his Christmas Outfit?
daft lot aren't we, getting excited about a bike basket of bells :)
