I took Monty and Nigel on @helenmoss's Eversden walk today. When you get up on the hill (a Cambridge hill so a low one!) you come across a farm with pigs and guinea fowl and alpacas and aeroplanes. There is a runway mown through a rape field and quite a few light aircraft. My pics of a plane taking off were disappointingly rubbish but I quite like the windsock!
Judith....ahh nice windsock contrasted against the blue sky :) I think you should ask the air field to replace the wind sock with a new one...i mean...don't they know u need a deep orange one to make your scene even better
@judithg Judith , painting in more orange , thats's far too difficult for me , actually the old worn look of the windsock works well :)...deep orange would be the icing on the cake :)
