A lady academic arrives rather at the last minute for the degree ceremony. There were lots of people walking around so it was tough to catch her but I thought she looked the part on her bike.
I love the shot! With the black gown blowing in the breeze and the basket on the bike, I immediately started humming the Wicked Witch music from the "Wizard of Oz". Fabulous shot!
The editing sure helps to focus on the lady - what a fabulous catch. Is that the aquarell filter on the rest of the picture? I'm all for the editing but I'd love to see the original version or a slightly more natural one, just to compare.
I hope she didn't get her gown caught in the spokes !! Great the way she is highlighted & all around her is darkened, really good editing ! We have been using photo shop in class tonight & I think you can get some really interesting looks with it especially if you do this sort of thing ! I didn't do much at class though as I was so tired tonight & it was a real effort to go . All finished now !
